Grandma’s Saskatoon Berry Cobbler
There is nothing like baking from Grandma, and this blueberry cobbler recipe is no exception. My Grandma is the cobbler queen. They are easy to make and they never disappoint. This Saskatoon Berry Crumble is one of my granny’s signature recipes, and today I’m sharing it with all of you!
I was lucky enough to have my Grandma stop by and help me make this cobbler to share with you all! She came prepared with all of the ingredients, the tools she needed, and this sweet little recipe card. All in the making of a perfect baking day!
The best part of this recipe really is how easy it is! You only need a few ingredients, most of which you probably already have in your kitchen. And on top of that, this recipe actually requires no skill, like seriously, anyone can do it! The only kitchen gadgets you need are a bowl, a baking dish, some measuring cups, and, as my grandma calls it, an old fashion mixer (AKA a pastry cutter - if you don’t have one, a fork will do just fine!)
This treat takes about 35 minutes to bake in the oven at 350 degrees F, but my grandma suggests you check on it after that to see if it needs a little more time or if it’s baked to your liking! You want the fruit underneath to be bubbly & warm and the crumble on top to be browned and a little crispy! Are you getting hungry yet? Grandma’s Saskatoon Berry Cobbler is calling your name! So let’s hop into the recipe!
